Educational Scholarships
Since 2021, the Murdoch Center Foundation has proudly awarded over $20,000 in educational scholarships to deserving students dedicated to pursuing careers in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). These scholarships help empower future professionals committed to improving the lives of individuals with IDD. The foundation is investing in a skilled and compassionate workforce, ensuring a brighter future for the IDD community.
Care Team
Initiatives like the Care Program support Murdoch employees by improving wellbeing and creating a happier workplace. The Care Team gives support to employees during stressful events. They provide avenues for employees to acknowledge their stress or grief and provide support and resources.
Amenities
Picnic tables purchased by MCF have been placed across the center’s campus for all to enjoy. Stepping stones decorated by VE Enterprises for the nature trail offer wellness benefits for both staff and the people who live at Murdoch Center.
Celebrations
The MCF supports special events and enjoyable activities like birthday parties, proms, dances and holiday celebrations.
Supporting Volunteer Services
Each year, the MCF provides assistance to the Volunteer Services Department at Murdoch Center for initiatives like Summer Celebrations, the Campership Program, Story Walk, and holiday programs.
